How do I create an Event?

1. Go to the My Main Event Facebook Application by clicking on the Application button at the bottom left of your homepage and then clicking on My Main Event.
2. To create an event, simply click on the "Create My Main Event" link at the top right corner of the page.
3. Fill out the event details.  Event Name, Host, Start Date, End Date, and Location are required.
4. Click on the "Create Main Event" button when you're done.
5. Next, look over and configure the special options for your event.  Watch the video to learn more.
6. Click Save to move on.
7. Now, review your event details and special options.  When you're ready, publish your event by clicking on the "Publish" button.
8. Now you can invite your guests.

How can I EARN MONEY promoting this Event?

1. If the Event host allows promoters for this event AND is rewarding promoters, simply click on "EARN MONEY" link on the Event RSVP page.
2. You will be taken to the Promote Event Page where you must enter your PayPal Account Email
3. You can also add a Personal Message for your friends
4. Invite your friends and EARN MONEY.
5. Your friend must purchase through your invite for you to EARN MONEY. 
6. This Event will show up in your Manage Events tab for you to see your progress and how much MONEY you are making
7. You can request your promoter's reward payment for this event when the Event ends
8. As a promoter, it's free to promote each event.  There is no risk. Now you can earn money by promoting events.

What if I can't make it to the event and I already purchased my seats?

1. If the Event host allows guests to resell their seats, simply click on "RESELL MY SEATS" button in the event RSVP page.
2. You will be taken to the Resell Event Page where you must enter your PayPal Account Email and specify the number of seats you are reselling.
3. You must agree to the Terms of Service to Resell your seats.  Once complete, all previous invitees on the waitlilst will be notified.
4. You can also add a Personal Message for your friends and the waitlist.
5. Invite your friends and increase your opportunity to recoup most of your costs.
6. Your friend must purchase through your invite for you to RECOUP your costs. 
7. This Event will show up in your Manage Events tab for you to see your progress
8. You can request your reseller's payment for this event when the Event ends
9. You do not have to resell all your seats.
10. As a reseller, the My Main Event service charge is $0.99 per transaction to resell your seats.  There is no risk.

How do I request payment?

1. You can only request payments after the event ends.
2. Go to the Past Managed Events tab and click on it.
3. Finally, simply click on the PayPal button.
